Ash Wednesday, Next Wednesday, February 17th: Father Raphael, Spiritual Director at The American College in Leuven will be presider for the Eucharist and imposition of ashes at 7:00 pm in Ste. Anne’s Church,
(Ash Wednesday is a Day of Fast and Abstinence)

Charity Collection will be taken each Sunday during Lent.

Family Lenten Reconciliation Service, March 10 at 7:00pm in the Church. Father Raphael along with another Priest from the American College will be here to celebrate this Service. At this time we will be honouring our children in the First Reconciliation program. Confirmation Students – also plan on attending to celebrate the Sacrament of Penance prior to reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The weekend of the 13 – 14 March - the Little Sisters of the Poor will visit us to speak about their work with the elderly and poor of Brussels. We always look forward to welcoming Sister Gemma and the Sisters from the home in Rue Haute, Brussels.

Lenten Mission: Our Lenten Mission will be held Monday evening, March 15, and Tuesday evening March 16, from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Held at the Parish Centre, Avenue Reine Astrid 64 in Waterloo. The theme this year is “Prayer”. Sister Teresa White FCJ will be guiding attendees to improve their prayer life as a Lenten journey, in preparation for Easter.

PARISH SERVICE DAY: A very worthwhile and humbling Lenten service. On Saturday, 20 March, we will be going to The Little Sisters of the Poor for our Parish’ Service Day. Sister Gemma spoke very highly of our young adults & adults who gave of their Saturday to help out in the home last year. If you would like to give a few hours of your time to this project, please be at the Parish Centre/Rectory, Ave. Reine Astrid 64 in Waterloo at 9:30am for car pooling. Charity Collection will be taken each Sunday during Lent. Alms giving along with fasting and prayer have been part of our faith tradition from the earliest days of Christianity. Most of us have been richly blessed in our lives; may we share our blessings with others. Each weekend during the Season of Lent, we will have a special collection to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
1st. Collection was 300 euro / 2nd. Collection was 320 euro
3rd Collection will be for The Little Sisters of the Poor who will be visiting us and speaking about their work with the poor and old in Brussels.
